Job Summary

Are you a content creator with a great eye for visually appealing and engaging Reels and Photos?  We’re searching for a highly qualified Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our team.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about social media, writing, and the creative process as a whole. 

This person will plan and execute social media marketing for our clients.  We work with a wide range of fun brands.  The ideal candidate is a go-getter, a creative at heart and thrives off of helping brands grow!  The right candidate will have a keen eye for design to create professional graphics for our clients and our brand.  This person will also be on top of all trends on social and be able to create engaging Reels.  This assignment is a demanding but rewarding position, offering the right person the opportunity to build and manage various social media strategies to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales for our clients and our own brand through organic social media.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Research and understand complex information

  • Research industries and ability to see from the customer's point of view

  • Read and research relevant books, blogs, and articles, specifically in the social media & e-commerce industry

  • Work in Later and Creator Studio to schedule posts in the future

  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies

  • Identify social channels for program inclusion

  • Manage and oversee social media strategy, content, design, and campaigns

  • Perform Hashtag Research and Optimal Post times

  • Engage with other accounts, hashtags, etc to maximize brand reach & engagement

  • Ensure content aligns with the strategy and is engaging

  • Create and deploy varying types and styles of content, written, images, videos, graphics, podcasts, etc.

  • Ghostwrite from multiple voices

  • Research trends and develop creative for our clients that are engaging and will drive results

  • Create IG Stories, Reels, IGTV, and Guides

  • Create professional-looking imagery in Canva, Adobe, etc

  • Edit videos

  • Take photos & edit

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies

  • Engage via social media with industry professionals and influencers to strengthen the client programs

  • Establish and maintain an editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely campaigns

  • Establish employee social media training, best practices, and engagement initiatives

  • Monitor inbound engagement and provide timely responses

  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the brands

  • Utilize social media tools to manage content development, deployment, and KPI’s

  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

  • Monitor SEO, generation of inbound traffic, and engagement

  • Establish, monitor, and report on social program SWOT and KPI’s, suggest and adjust programs as needed

  • Attend client calls via Google Meets or Zoom, as needed

  • Meet weekly in-person or via Zoom with the CEO/Client Manager

Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, OR relevant experience

  • Experience managing social media accounts

  • Copywriting & self-editing sills

  • Proven experience building a social media strategy & successfully executing

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media platforms

  • Ability to stay on top of trends

  • Reels, or video editing experience

  • Basic Photography and editing skills

  • Ability to ghost write from multiple voices

  • Demonstrated experience with managing projects and meeting deadlines

  • Solid understanding of social media KPIs

  • Must have a creative mind and be able think outside of the box

  • Experience with Creator Studio

  • Strong collaboration, team, and independent working skills

  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

  • Proficiency in Canva

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing

  • Ability to identify and handle potential, negative, or crisis situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • Working knowledge of adobe software

  • Experience building & customizing data reporting tools for social media

  • Flexible

Work Location:

  • Remote.  Must have reliable internet.

  • Must live in the Gainesville, FL or surrounding area to attend occasional meetings.​
