Job Summary

We’re searching for a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator to join our team.  From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with our client’s company & goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.  This role will be critical to the success of our clients and our company.  This person enjoys building internal and external systems and programs and being part of a collaborative environment that thrives on diversity of thought and teamwork.  We believe in serving one another so this person must have a servant attitude. 


Objectives of this Role

  • Assist in the development and implementation of our clients’ brand strategy

  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success

  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends

  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including our CRM, CMM, and tracking capabilities (Data Studio, etc)

  • Further your knowledge and education regularly through research, workshops and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

  • Support the Project Manager and Social Media Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars

  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion

  • Assist in planning and manage client & internal meetings 

  • Assist with content shoots 

  • Updating and/or trafficking social media accounts

  • Assist with updating our company’s website content

  • Collect, analyze and negotiate proposals from media partners

  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels/medias.

  • Manage internal marketing materials, forms, documents, and sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

  • Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)  We use Monday.

  • Creating emails in Constant Contact for clients

  • Review SEO content to ensure it’s on-brand

  • Assisting with planning and arranging internal culture initiatives like team building activities and family nights

  • Ensure clients are invoiced monthly 

  • Meet weekly in-person and/or via Zoom with the CEO and the Social Media Manager

  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to leadership​


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or 5+ years proven experience

  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator, or similar role

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

  • Experience with research and using data analytics software

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in Canva

  • Demonstrated experience with managing projects and meeting deadlines

  • Wordpress experience a plus

  • Basic Reels, or video editing, experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • Working knowledge of design and email software

  • Experience working with budgets and forecasting

Work Location

  • Remote.  Must have reliable internet.

  • Must live in the Gainesville, FL or surrounding area to attend occasional meetings.​
