Marketing Assistant

Job Summary

Our company is looking to hire a marketing assistant to join our growing team.  The person in this role will be working closely with our team members to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our clients and our brand. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as case studies, marketing performance reports, and presentations. This role will provide administrative support to our team members and will be critical to the success of our clients and our company.  This person enjoys building internal and external programs and being part of a collaborative environment that thrives on diversity of thought and teamwork.  We believe in serving one another so this person must have a servant attitude.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.

  • Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.

  • Comfortable with audience and buyer persona research

  • Creating marketing materials such as case studies, presentations, and proposals.

  • Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)  We use Monday.

  • Providing administrative support to the team.

  • Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.

  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.

  • Simplify and present complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.

  • Performing competitor analyses

  • Analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.

  • Updating and/or trafficking social media accounts.

  • Assist with our company’s website content.

  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.

  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels/medias.

  • Creating emails in Constant Contact for clients

  • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.

  • Review content to ensure it’s on-brand

  • Assisting with planning and arranging internal culture initiatives like team building activities and family nights.

  • Attend client calls in person or via Google Meets or Zoom

  • Taking meeting notes & creating and assigning action items in Monday

  • Meet weekly in-person or via Zoom with the CEO and the Social Media Manager

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint)

  • Proficiency in Canva

  • Proficiency in Constant Contact or Klaviyo

  • Demonstrated experience with managing projects and meeting deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience collecting and interpreting data in Google Analytics and Facebook Business Manager

  • Wordpress experience a plus

  • Video editing experience a plus

Education:

  • Possess a degree in Communications, Marketing, relevant field, or experience.

  • Fully Remote.  Must have reliable internet.

  • Headquarters is located in the Gainesville, FL area.
